A committee who's primary function is to reach citizens of Owen County. This group focuses on service projects and events designed to provide value to the lives of our citizens.

Little Free Pantries

One of the ongoing service projects is the filling of the little free food pantries around Owen County. Currently to date we know of eleven little food pantries.

Upcoming Committee Projects:

Breakfast with Santa is in the works! This is a partnership with the Cataract Lake Community Center.	The democrats are designing and constructing a little free pantry to add in front of democratic headquarters in Spencer.

Past Committee Projects:

Democrats volunteered primarily in the Take-Out line, where we filled to-go containers with freshly cooked fish, coleslaw, and green beans. And don't forget the amazing dessert that was provided by our Amish neighbors!	The Patricksburg Community showed out in a big way to support their Volunteer Fire Department!	Sweaty work, serving food, but we had a great time at the Coal City Community Volunteer Fire Departments Annual Fish Fry!

Democrats surprised the Cataract Lake Community Center with a large school supply donation. These donations were presented at a fundraising event for the center.	Staff at the Cataract Lake Community Center accept large donation of school supplies.	Democrats clean and maintenance a little free pantry in Spencer. This included removing outdated food, and treating the box for an ant infestation.
Democrats volunteer each month on the first Friday at the historic Tivoli theater.	The outreach committee fills the little free pantries in Spencer, IN after each food drive.
