About
Mary has called Indiana home for more than 30 years. After leaving for military training, she returned to Evansville to raise her three daughters in the community she loves. Today, she and her husband, Greg, live in downtown Evansville, where they enjoy time with their two grandchildren and their dog, Pierre.
Mary currently serves as an At-Large City Councilor, where she serves as Vice President. She serves on the County's Solid Waste Board and the board of the Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization. Mary has been a small business owner for more than 15 years. She and her husband co-own Virginia Street Properties, where they have rehabbed several homes to support neighborhood revitalization.
Service has always been at the heart of Mary’s life. she has invested decades in strengthening her community, serving 10 years in a nonprofit ministry focusing on under-resourced neighborhoods. Today, she chairs the board of the Evansville Urban Enterprise Zone, working to revitalize distressed communities. She's a proud member of Rotary where the motto is service above self.
